FK-100 FoodGrade is a 2-component, heavy-duty food grade paint (epoxy coating) designed for direct food contact applications. It is 100% solids, partially bio-based, and both EU 10/2011 and FDA 21 CFR 175.300 certified. This high-performance, high-thickness coating delivers strong anticorrosive and physicochemical resistance, with low VOC content and a low-odour gloss finish. It is suitable for protecting, renovating, and coating surfaces that come into direct, occasional, or indirect contact with food, beverages, process water, and drinking water.

The product is treated (BPR Art. 3 and 58) with BioFilmStop FG antimicrobial technology, developed specifically for food-contact environments. Its effectiveness has been validated against a range of bacteria and pathogenic microorganisms including coronavirus under ISO 22196 and ISO 21702.

FK-100 FoodGrade, part of the Fakolith FoodGrade paint and food-grade epoxy coating range, is manufactured to support compliance with CE 852/2004 and produced under HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in accordance with CE 2023/2006 and FDA 21 CFR 174.5. The coating enhances hygiene standards and improves surface safety for food processing, food contact, and healthcare environments.

Because of its robust adhesion and corrosion-resistant formulation, FK-100 FoodGrade also serves effectively as a food grade paint for metal, including sandblasted or properly primed steel surfaces.
