Marunda Completes Deck Re-Surfacing Project on USS BENFOLD (DDG-65)

Marunda recently completed a successful internal deck re-surfacing contract aboard the USS BENFOLD (DDG-65), a Flight I Arleigh Burke-class destroyer of the United States Navy.

As a factory-trained applicator and proud regional representative of the Dex-O-Tex family of products, Marunda utilised NAVSEA, American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), and U.S. Coast Guard-approved coating systems to deliver a high-performance solution tailored for the demanding conditions of naval operations.

Dex-O-Tex marine flooring systems are specially engineered to:

  • Withstand harsh marine environments
  • Enhance surface aesthetics
  • Improve onboard safety for foot traffic

This project reinforces Marunda’s continued role in advancing habitability, safety, and mission readiness for deployed naval forces operating across the Indo-Pacific.

The team at Marunda is proud to support the USS BENFOLD as she continues her patrol in service of a Free and Open Indo-Pacific.
