Marunda

Marunda has been a NAVSEA Certified Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) holder for the United States Navy since 2004. Over two decades, Marunda was regularly audited and evaluated to maintain the Agreement and remain active in its service.

Being an ABR holder, Marunda has an outstanding track record over the years to a diverse scope of repair work in compliance to stringent NAVSEA standards which include but not limited to Hull Mechanical & Electrical (HME) repair and maintenance, Voyage Repair Availability (VRA), Critical Repair Availability (CRA), Emergent Maintenance Availability (EMA) and Preventive Maintenance Availability (PMAV).

In addition to providing services to the US Navy fleet, Marunda also provides similar services to the US Military Sealift Command and US  Coast Guard vessels operating throughout the Indo-Pacific region.

JOSCAR stands for the Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register, which is a collaborative initiative used by leading aerospace, defence and security manufacturers to streamline supplier qualification and enhance the efficiency of their supply chains. JOSCAR is an accreditation system for suppliers that operate in the defense, aerospace and security sectors. It enables registered prime contractors such as BAE Systems, Leonardo, NATS, QinetiQ and others to confidently trade with pre-qualified organizations. JOSCAR allows a certain level of assurance that a customer can approach a supplier knowing, with confidence that they have met a stringent set of wide ranging criteria.

Marunda is now officially accredited as an eligible supplier to all companies which take part to JOSCAR platform.

This is further proof of the excellent reputation of Marunda in the advanced defence sector.

Marunda has recently obtained the Cyber Trust Mark, reflecting our dedication to maintaining top-tier cybersecurity standards.

The Cyber Trust Mark is a prestigious certification awarded to organizations that demonstrate excellence in implementing comprehensive cybersecurity measures. It signifies that the organization has adopted robust practices and protocols, ensuring their cybersecurity posture aligns with their unique risk profile. This mark of distinction underscores a commitment to protecting sensitive data and maintaining the highest levels of security in an increasingly digital world.

Marunda is now JOSCAR-AU registered, aligning us with key Australian defence prime contractors and the Australian Department of Defence. This positions us to support the Royal Australian Navy with afloat expeditionary repair and maintenance services throughout the Indo-Pacific region.
